Melvin attended the University of Alberta where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1989, and his Law Degree in 1993. He was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1994 after which he articled at Bryan & Company in Edmonton, Alberta. He then moved to Calgary, Alberta where he practiced with Mangat & Company. In 2001 Melvin joined Braithwaite Boyle, and has been practicing Personal Injury law since that time.
Melvin enjoys long weekend runs, reading and traveling.
