Katherine Burt


Katherine obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1992, and her Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Alberta in 1996. Katherine completed her articles at Fraser Milner Casgrain, and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 1997. She then practised in the Civil Litigation department at Fraser Milner Casgrain for 9 years. She then practiced in the area of Insurance Defence with Dean Duckett for 3 years prior to joining Braithwaite Boyle.

Katherine has appeared in several levels of court including Provincial Court, Court of Queen's Bench, and the Alberta Court of Appeal.

Katherine's personal interests include travelling and animal rights.
