Light graduated from the University of Alberta in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce with Specialization majoring in Marketing, and a minor in Entrepreneurship and Small Business.  Following her degree Light worked at Sysco Food Services as a Marketing Coordinator for a few years prior to the start of her law career.  In 2007 she left the company to attend law school and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Alberta in 2010.  Light was admitted to the Alberta Bar Association in 2011 after spending her articling year at Braithwaite Boyle, and has been practicing injury law at this firm since that time.  She is also an avid advocate who enjoys civil litigation and appearing in court.

Light’s personal interests include music, dance, traveling, and Bikram hot yoga.
